Harford County residents and Ocean City officials were among the guests at the ribbon-cutting ceremony held September 23, 2015
On Wednesday, September 23, Bel Air-based law firm Shaffer, McLauchlin & Stover, LLC hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open its new Ocean City office located at 9921 Stephen Decatur Highway. A cocktail reception at the Sunset Grille followed the event.
More than 40 guests from both the Eastern Shore and Harford County were on hand for the festivities, including Melanie Pursel, Executive Director of the Ocean City Chamber of Commerce, and Ginger Fleming, Executive Director of the Ocean Pines Chamber of Commerce. The firm was represented by partners Eric McLauchlin, Gina Shaffer and Brad Stover who were joined at the ribbon-cutting by family members from the area.
Clients like Jay Warrington of Northeastern Supply, a plumbing, HVAC and water systems supplier with locations throughout the mid-Atlantic including the Eastern Shore, are enthusiastic about the new office. “We have a vibrant business environment. We also have an aging population that needs estate planning, elder law and related services. Those things have increased the demand for a firm like this in our area,” says Warrington.
Shaffer will split her time between Shaffer, McLauchlin & Stover’s offices, working out of Bel Air Monday through Wednesday and in the Ocean City office on Thursday and Friday.
